I checked back and I still feel I missed something. Where’s the new couch?

Thinking about nothing is a lot of work and it makes Jack a null boy.

Survivor mode kicking in.

Arlo gets it right most of the time.

A slow learning curve is better than none at all…but he’d be better off if he said “sleeping foxes”.

Would that be sleeping lady dogs?

Less is better than more.

This is the cue to “have to run an errand”. “ Nothing” always leads to something.

Anybody else read this initially with the expectation as to what is typically said instead of Arlo’s play on it?

janis is checking some thing out and feel’s better not telling arlo about it and worrying him?

Good thought Arlo but give her a hug anyway. Looks like she needs it.

Let sleeping dogs lie is an excellent maxim; unless you are meaner than the dog.

In this case “unless you have a good deal of emotional energy to spend.”

I believe Arlo meant “lying” in the sense of “liar”.

Janis is obviously lying when she says nothing. Arlo is in no hurry to find out what it is.

Janis misses the memories from her old couch???

Is that the new couch? (sofa, davenport, divan. chesterfield..whatever)

Not a good omen. The Nothing Box is a male brain thing. Whereas women associate EVERYTHING with EVERYTHING. Arlo may be in for a rough time if that has turned off in Janis.

Don’t worry, she’ll let you know, when you least expect it…
