Both dogs and cats are capable of loving their owners and showing that love. Both can be wonderful, loving family members. And isn’t that what we really want?
We had a Himalayan and now have a Persian. They are not lap cats so this doesn’t happen everything is done down at their level but they do a lot of rubbing on our legs to keep us happy!
No matter how you describe it, dogs are more loving than humans. Dogs do not betray you, do not lie to you, do not stab you in the back, and when everyone else has left you…your dog is still there. Dogs give unconditional love. You are never alone when you have a dog…especially when you go to the bathroom. lol
my cat does this almost every night, especially when it is really cold outside. He wants me to get up and give him the recliner so I just take that as my bedtime and hit the bed.

This is pretty much all you need to know about cats. They have a way of getting what they want.

As I read the comments, I am enjoying my dog, Shiloh, laying on my lap getting a snooze. I cannot do anything right now because I have dog lapcitis.

Our big boy Blue is pushy when he wants attention
He doesn’t want to take the chair, he wants the lap and he doesn’t want me to get up
He’s over 20 pounds, long soft fur , and a loud purr
He gets what he wants

Cat breath’s not that bad. Unless their leg’s been up in the air.

My wife goes through this all the time. Not the last panel, but the cat being so affectionate that it ends with love bites.
