I appreciate Arlo as the best husband in comics. Unlike many comic husbands he’s not an utter buffoon, he isn’t lazy or a filanderer, he doesn’t denigrate his wife and he loves her and her alone.

I think that might be a difference between a man and a woman. I don’t think it would ever even cross a man’s mind to be “annoyed” by a surprise HFB (Hug From Behind). I, for one, would welcome such an HFB any time, anywhere, for any reason, with the possible exception of when I’m operating a power tool.

I’m not sure girls understand that you can’t annoy boys doing that…
