Or wine, or cookies, or potato chips, or nachos…

Or Margaritas and Nachos…….

Come visit us in the summer. The pool is cleaner than the house.

I have a lovely little plaque on the wall facing the door. Everybody who comes in reads it and wants one. “My house was clean last week. Sorry you missed it.” Under it are my dust mop and rag: if you see/capture a dust bunny, you get extra eats.

Or wine and cheese in the latter part of the afternoon!

They wouldn’t stop by if they cared that both your house and mind are dirty.

Chocolate wine or Bailey’s work for me, too!

Under those two conditions: I’ll be your friend, Aunty!

So that’s why nobody comes over.

Real friends bring the cake.

Let your friends eat Cake.

But, most of them Do care if you washed the dishes since the Last Time you served them a nice slice of Cake.

When they say “I’ve never asked you for anything before but,” YOU HAD BETTER RUN and then run some more
