During one of my periods of employment, I volunteered at the mental health hospital where my wife worked. I held a one hour session on how to organize a job search and how to deal with the stress of unemployment.

After that, I’d have lunch with my wife and they would let me out.

One day, after having lunch with my wife, I am out in the parking lot and there is one of my “students” from my session. It turns out he was being released that day anyway, but heard good things about my talk and decided to stay on the extra hour.

If they’re on the lam looking and for you, they really should have stayed on the inside.
