I was going to approve of her message, but I guess I don’t need to.

Happiness is a warm gun.

Happiness is when you feel good about yourself without the need to put others down.

happiness is when you feel good doing things for others without needing anyone’s approval…

Or the need to put someone else down to achieve it.

Another unexpected gem from Auntie. On the other hand, if feel the need for someone else’s approval, you’re doing it for the wrong reason.

The same can be said for a sociopath.

I applaud and up vote those that agree with this but for me that is not so easy to do due to having personality disorder and one of the main symptom of this is that I seek, and NEED peoples approval or I feel like I am nothing and a waste to be around. I don’t like when people are mad at me and if I don’t know if they are mad I will ask and ask if they are mad at me until they do get mad because of my continually asking. I have tried to not do this and even when I was in the mental hospital in 2020 I talk to my counselor about it but I just can’t stop feeling this way.

While I try to treat everyone as I would like to be treated, I really don’t care what anyone, outside those I care about, thinks of me.
