Heeeeeeeeeeeey Batter, batter, batter, batter, swing, batter He can’t hit, he can’t hit, he can’t hit, he can’t hit, swing, batter. Oh No! We all in trouble the Carp can’t pitch, his arms are like rubber. Carp looks stern at the batter. Well this ain’t Mudville and you ain’t Casey. There’s the wind-up. Here’s the pitch and it’s a ? Oh, the Drama!

There is no joy in Mudville.

And then there’s Joe Walsh’s song, Rocky Mountain Way:

“Bases are loaded And Casey’s at bat, Playin’ it play-by-play. Time to change the batter….”

What’s he worried about. Casey missed.

And if he strikes the batter out . . . it’s still tied. So the game goes into extra innings, and I don’t think they have any relievers.
