Q:- What does ‘Apathy’ mean? A:- I don’t know and I don’t care.

I don’t care what you do, I’m sleeping in.

I once asked an extremely dim and unhelpful Walmart employee if she knew the difference between ignorance and apathy? She actually answered with “I don’t know and I don’t care!” When I told the manager, he shook his head, rolled his eyes and described the carnival reject by her looks. I said that’s her! Never saw her there again. Maybe she went back to her home planet…

What do we want? APATHY!

Fun at the register yesterday. Put my choices on the counter. Clerk toted them but she never asked me if I had a shopper card. Ran the ticket and when I asked her what happened to the discounts, she took the ticket, read the dozen or so items, and said in an almost untranslatable accent, There’s only the one for $.50. Take it to the returns counter and they’ll fix it.

Like she would know all the discounts in the supermarket without having to check? Talk about brass. Service is getting worse by the day.
