From whom did Chela get her cooking lessons?

When the fire alarm goes off, that means that dinner was ready 5 minutes ago. It is no longer ready.

She treats her family like idols. She even gives them burnt offerings!

When her family says Grace before the meal they whine up making confession.

She’s such a bad cook the family prays after the meal.

“She thought that the smoke alarm was a kitchen timer.”

Not enjoying rare meats, Chela’s husband insisted everything be ‘well done’ .

I don’t want to say it, but I’m going to say it.

That’s what we used to say about my ex-wife!

Many years ago, my wife and I lived in an apartment building next door to a lousy cook. Every night the fire alarm in the other apartment would go off at dinnertime so both my wife and I would yell, “Dinner’s ready!” This is where that story came from.

My intention was to make sweet tea. I made brittle instead.

I’m glad i didn’t start the kitchen on fire.

HAY Whats wrong with that? Besides. most cooks take out the batteries.

That was the joke my dad used to make when I was a kid!
