I’m still unable to adjust that my daughter would pay a premium (or demand my wife and I pay a premium) for ripped jeans my mother would have thrown out before they ever looked like that.

So… now the street person look is chic?

He probably spent more on the underwear he exposes over his low jeans than I have for my entire wardrobe. But the last thing I bought was nearly two decades ago. (Yikes! Sigh and groan…)

The whole point of looking cool to a teenager is to be embarrassing to your entire family!

Embarrassing goes both ways. Sometimes kids embarrass their parents. Sometimes parents must embarrass their kids.

Perhaps “NOT HARDLY!!!” would be an appropriate response; look at those price tags! Baldo wants that look, let him buy ’em with HIS OWN money!
