Just read about a weightlifter/strongman who was accused of slapping a German officer just before WWII. He bent the bars of his cell and escaped. Then did the same for other captives. Then beat up the officer……

I’m just loving seeing family looking at old family pictures together! Needs to happen more often.

I have several very old photo albums from my mother and an aunt, with some photos of relatives going back to the late 1800s. I managed to scan, enhance, and annotate these old pictures and create a digital photo album to preserve these snapshots of family history for anyone in the family who is interested.

Interestingly, my tech-savvy grandchildren prefer to look through the old photo albums.

If the people in the picture are holding weapons then based on the probable age, they were either fighting for or against Pancho Villa.

Tia Carmen has an infinite number of cousins.

I think more and more that Gracie and Xiomara need to meet.

Are they related to Luisa Madrigal? (Or possibly Rosa Gonzalez?)

I’m pretty sure they are second cousins, once removed. Xiomara is second cousins with Gracie’s dad, so she does not have the same great-grandparents as Xiomara. Gracie’s dad and Xiomara have the same grand parents.

The photo is of Carmen’s mom and dad, if Carmen is saying those are Gracie’s great-grandparents.

I had a distant relative who was the fat man in the circus. Doesn’t compare.
