I have never eaten an empanada, but since reading the strip, I have become mildly obsessed to try one. There was supposed to be a Peruvian restaurant in my town that carried them, but they went out of business just before I got there.

When we ran out of cookies, I learned to make more. Mom had happy busy children for a couple of hours and just a small mess. Broken cookies have no calories.
