I still don’t understand. I was around back then and I certainly didn’t get the reference. How would kids get the reference? I is confused
“Wad” and “Long” … it’s surprising if that HASN’T been picked up as a porn star name. But I’d HOPE Cynthia and her peers are just thinking of it as a bizarrely stodgy name.
I hear “Longfellow” and think of a tall man. But yeah, his full name is so British I get drowsy from hearing it.

Maybe I missed class that day; but, this went right over my head! And, I am 6 feet tall…
Don’t knock the song. I happen to like it. As for the “sappiest”, have you ever listen to anything by Barry Manilow?
