With that hat, it’s clear he’s not a journalist, but an artiste.

The resemblance to Gloria Swanson is frightening.

Playing to the camera while playing the “journalist.” Well done Clyde!

And why are so many of the homeless mentally ill? Well, the that’s the wrong question; the right question is “Why are so many of the mentally ill homeless?” And the answer is because Ronnie Raygun stripped Federal funding from long-term residential mental-health facilities, none of the unbroken chain of conservatives since has restored it, and the states can’t afford it.

Very few people would understand this, and am glad to see the cartoonist tap into a base of knowledge other than today’s shallow cultural values, if that is what one would call them. There was a lot packed into today’s comic. Talented cartoonist.

The third panel is strange: Clyde is doing one thing in “RL” and another on the little screen.

If it were not for the mentally ill, YouTube would not be as popular as it is./s Note the sarcasm in my statement. People making fun of those with mental health issues is not helping the problem, but wouldn’t it be better if more of us were understanding to the “Karen’s” that keep popping up on YouTube. It is truly sad we see their anguish as entertainment.
