I read this morning that the parents of the child in TX who died from measles are still defending their anti-vax stance and say that she died because “it was her time”

Our financial planner canceled a meeting because he had the flu. Said he would never forgo getting a flu shot again. Having had the flu myself years ago, I agreed – everything hurts – how can hair brushing on a bed sheet hurt so much!?!?!

My employer provides flu shots every year, and I’m confident nearly all of my coworkers get the shot annually. Despite that, this year’s flu swept through the entire workplace like wildfire.

I got a flu shot at a VA clinic in late September one year. I got the flu in early January in the next calendar year. I looked up the symptoms I had online. I had an Australian strain of the flu.

I told a joke to a bunch of cows. It was a laughing stock.
