I don’t dislike jazz, it’s just too formless to have anything to “grab onto”, so to speak. “Take Five” by Dave Brubeck, however, is not formless. There’s a definite melody there.

My wife just watched the whole Madmen series front to back. Needless to say, not in one sitting, she did get up to go to the bathroom occasionally…

2 things, 1st, Kenny G is highly underrated, and 2nd, The Music of Linus and Lucy is awesome.

I’ve watched just enough of Ken Burns’ documentaries to know that I don’t like Ken Burns’ documentaries.There is more good jazz than bad jazz, but there less good rap than bad rap.
