I don’t dislike jazz, it’s just too formless to have anything to “grab onto”, so to speak. “Take Five” by Dave Brubeck, however, is not formless. There’s a definite melody there.
I’ve watched just enough of Ken Burns’ documentaries to know that I don’t like Ken Burns’ documentaries.There is more good jazz than bad jazz, but there less good rap than bad rap.
