They could have used this place in Asimov’s Foundation Series.

@dflak Long before Asimov, it was one of the half-dozen names of the city we call Atlanta. (From Thrasherville to Terminus to Lumpkin to Marthasville to Atlantica-Pacifica to Atlanta, all in the space of 6-8 years). So did Asimov independently name his Foundation’s home for the same reason? Or was he using one of the other Terminuses?
