I love the cheesy smile on the dinosaur.

Given that this comic has had humans and dinosaurs together from the beginning, anachronisms like celebrating Christmas before Christ (and Santa) are minor issues. We can just smile and go with the sentiment, which is, I believe, to express wishes for peace and joy to us all.

Since when did the characters live in houses? I thought they lived in caves. The houses look like they were imported from the Flintstones.

In addition of BC being the name of one of the characters, BC is a shout-out to Johnny Hart’s home turf, Broome County NY.
