Not a landslide; an avalanche. A friend was in Germany at a ski resort and happened to be standing downhill of the lodge when the hillside avalanched. He just heard a “whoosh!” The avalanche broke out all the uphill windows in the lodge, and in seconds people were poking poles in the snow where skiers had been.

Once again, the artist does not point the conversation bubble and the person speaking in the last panel. This happened recently in Reply All. Honestly, is it so difficult?! They’re making it look like the guy with the spear asked and answered his own question!

Once in Rochester, as a kid, I buried myself in the snow…Waiting for the St. Bernard to come with the brandy.
