Maybe I’m just old-fashioned, but I still like the guidelines of avoiding talk about sex, politics, and religion in public. Everybody has their own views on each and they don’t normally need to know mine.
So the comics fall under the category of social media now. Cause it’s amazing how easily the topic of the comic can some how devolve into something political.
Ever since I started reading gocomics, a lot of the conversations have devolved into politics. If it wasn’t blaming everything on politicians, it was calling people by some preconceived notion as if the name caller new anything about the person they are saying what they are according to a comment made. Personally, if you want to talk about politics, go to the editorial cartoons. I’m sure you’ll find plenty of fodder there to vent your political views, thereby leaving the comics to discuss whatever topic the comic is talking about, without adding political vindictiveness into the conversation.

The Trump administration will soon be setting up control boards to censor comics like these.

As you can see, the best throwing stones are located near the stream bed of politics.
Politics is always at the lowest point of any terrain, and still seeking lower ground.
If all you have is a sling, every problem looks like an over-blown Goliath.

I’m actually now more forgiving of this “problem” considering the current state of politics…
