small investors can’t win in the USA economy nothing less than $100,000 will get their attention but without it being insured you might as walk a tight rope across the Grand Canyon on a windy day

I see what he did there even without knowing what a hedge fund is.

Fortunately he lives in what may be a barely functional barter economy so he can’t do a lot of damage

Two words, “restocking fee.” You have to pay to have them take the product back.

I did that at bed bath and beyond recently. I returned something ten years later because I kept forgetting to take it back. I only had a gift receipt, tho, which doesn’t show the price so it was based on the most recent price minus 20%. I got back less than $5 on what was originally a $20 item. But hey, they took it back…

they’re not quite clear on what a hedge fund is. “Economist” or maybe “Stock Analyst”

I tried to exchange an item at Old Navy without the receipt once. That was OK, but the following day I realized I had gotten the item in skinny rather than straight legs. The system wouldn’t let them process the exchange. The solution they came up with was to make me pay full price for the exchanged item and get a gift certificate in the mail that can only be used in-store. Two months later, I still can’t find anything I want to spend the gift certificate on. I should have just given the *$%! thing to Goodwill and been more careful next time. That, or swapped it myself and let them deal with any problems that causes their inventory system.

Hedge fund: a limited partnership of investors that uses high risk methods, such as investing with borrowed money, in hopes of realizing large capital gains.

Understand that all realize they are risky but may pay off big time — or lose everything.

Now someone is having fun here. Probably one of the long dead programmers gave him that information thought they have a simple economy a step above trading skills for things.

Secret, to the locals, very advanced mind devices to implant information and actions into them. Seems to be failing somewhat or there was more going on in the installation stages before most of humanity died off in the far future.
