Who put the ram in the ram-a-lama-ding-dong? Who put the bop in the bop-she-bop? DO-WOP, DO-WOP, DO WOP!(Thanks for letting me empty out a few more nanospaces. . .)
This little kid signs up for tuba lessons. He goes down the apartment steps, dwarfed by his horn, down the street, around the corner. About 45 minutes later, he’s coming back in. “Dad! Dad! I LEARNED HOW TO PLAY A C!” “Oh, that’s very nice.”
The next week, the kid goes down the steps again, lugging the tuba, 45 minutes later, he’s back. “Dad! Dad! I learned how to play a G!!” “That’s fine, that’s fine.”
The week after, off he goes, and 45 minutes later, he’s not back. It’s about 6:00 now. 7:00. 8:00. The dad is freaking out! Finally, about 1:00 am, Dad’s dozing in a chair and hears a car door slam below, and a half minute later, here’s the kid with his tuba. “What do you mean by staying out this late?! Don’t you know that I was—” “Dad! DAD! I GOT A GIG!!”

3 valves, at least 9 notes. More if partial valve presses work.

Since POP means popular, which means instinctively bringing joy to the majority, why denigrate it?

Go back to the version with no extra notes and you can play rap.

Even when this didn’t have valves it would have been capable of 5 harmonic notes, not one.

Any pop song ever is so true. E, A, and D or G, C, and F. Brainless music for any true musician.
