Smart bird. Probably one of the safest places for a nest.

I seem to recall a parent telling their kid something like: “You need to get your hair cut. Pretty soon a bird will build a nest up there.”

There’s an old saying: “You can’t keep a bird from flying over your head, but you don’t have to let it build a nest in your hair.”

Mocking birds do that. They try building nests in our gardenias but I won’t let them. If you try cutting the grass they keep die bombing you.

After Grog ripped up all the trees, he has to provide nesting locations. Serves him right. He should’ve done less clear ripping, and more select ripping.

They can help Grog out by sprinkling brewer’s yeast (available from barkeeper Willie) on him.

    Like the old saying goes:

Yeast is yeast, and nest is nest, and never the mane shall tweet.

Obviously this bird is either a species that has no sense of smell or one that feeds on carrion.

Absolutely true, we’ve got a species here that does just that, and it is scary at first, then you want to take out the broom, but no(of course)…
