They are very good friends! I like Cody.

I like Cody too. And I like him even more that he doesn’t mind the age gap between himself and Betty and that they are pals.

We need to take a vacation from Betty and follow Cody for the week.

Am I remembering correctly? When they first met, wasn’t Cody a bit stand-offish, not rude, but kind of like, “leave me alone”?
