My last job was as a civilian engineer with the Navy just before cell phones hit the scene. We had access to secret data and I asked a younger guy how they were handling the security problem since cameras of any type were forbidden in my day. He said you had to put your personal fone in a locker and use a Navy-issued phone for the day.
You can’t judge what you don’t see or hear. The kid could be writing a dissertation on something extremely delicate and essential. I remember reading about a man whose job was to come up with ideas for the company that he worked for. He’d sit for hours staring out his window, his ideas brought the company millions. One of his coworkers saw him just sitting there staring thought he was doing nothing and reported him. It’s so easy to judge.
“This Benjamin Franklin dude” LOL that’s kind of a realistic, though sad, commentary of how little various age groups know of earlier age groups (recent history).
It makes me wonder, though, if today’s children truly have never heard of Ben Franklin…

I really do not like this type of Sunday strip. It could easily have been a 3 or 4 panel weekday strip.
Thank-you for reading.

I always heard that saying as: Idle hands are the devil’s playground.
