10\10. Not just because of the I Love You, but how simple it is. It’s like the moment she was just herself, trying to help him out, that the words became easier. Because he really does love her. Which may seem simple to some, but to an 11 year old who struggles to be “mushy” and to my memory has never said this to a gf, this is pretty big. Love this.

Genuinely good arc.

Fine, but I think this arc is getting dragged on more than it needs to be. But, in Mr. Pierce’s defense, it gets hard to think of new ideas every day. Also, this is the first time Nate is so deep in.

I’m worried Daphne’s gonna point out her qualifier: Kim doesn’t love him THE WAY she loves him. Exactly what way do you love him? I’m hoping it’s the romantic/caring way instead of just a protector because he’s naive.

Today is Godzilla Vs Megalon( almost the end of showa but we get megalon and gigan I guess) also w strip I guess (I like spicy stories)

I can think of three scenarios 1. this goes well 2. someone hears this and the whole school goes nuts decides to leave and you know what happens next bonus. that other kid who liked her hears and goes ballistic.

Dang, I never thought he’d say it, and it wasn’t in the awkward way with a lot of coughing and stumbling through the words like I thought it would be. It was sincere and simple which makes what he said all the bigger, because he was not trying to speak in a way that would look cool or please someone. It was all from the heart.

Please let her say the same thing back to him tomorrow.
