Just because your people call each other ‘dear’, don’t expect to be fluent in Deer. The names sound alike, but that don’t mean squat.

My first thought- ‘Bambi, your mother isn’t coming home.’ :(

Deer have an alarm call that sounds like a bark. We once heard a deer barking in our yard and it turned out our 8-pound tabby had startled it. “Run, Bambi, run like the wind! There’s a tiny tiger out here!!”

“Try not to be catty this time”.

We had a cat who stalked deer. Really freaked them out.

No, just run like hell!
