Dum thing to do anyway !

Finally, the tree won!!!

ER rooms call it jackknife syndrome don’t they ?

If it’s a big piece of his pinky (and you hurry) they can sew it back on.

Who carries a knife on a date?

I’m guessing the rest of his pinky is the blob on the ground in front of the tree. If she would be so kind as to find a tissue or hanky and pick it up, they could finish their date at the ER.

True story….sister got the tip of here pinky caught in the inside of a door and snipped it off. Quick thinking brother put it in ice and rushed her to the emergency room. It got sewed back on. 50 years later, she has just a little scar.

Mr Tree didn’t like being carved on.

Wait till they figure out that tree is a very mad Ent, and starts following them!

The tree swallowed it ….

Next time, use a sharp knife. They don’t slip.

Been there, done that. Only with me it was the tip of my index finger and at work. Really impressive pool of blood on my desk.

Love hurts.

On a different note, I admire Harry’s sketching skills. For example, with this panel I particularly like the shading he uses on the tree trunk which gives it form and depth.

A sweet, romantic gesture..now memorable for more than one reason.
