While my father was a patient at his local VA, I went for a visit. Walking across the campus I saw a very unique tree and wondered what it was. After the visit I was coming from the other direction and saw a sign next to the tree. I figured dedication or something that may tell me about the tree. I strolled over to read it…..It was a sign alright, “KEEP OFF THE GRASS” was all that was on it.
