I remember going to the first KFC to hit my town, back when the name was spelled out. I couldn’t decide whether I was more surprised or more disappointed. The cute little drumstick was all of 4 1/2 inches long. My friend remarked, “These must’ve come from toy chickens!”
I know the rotisserie chickens at the supermarket deli are getting smaller and smaller. My suspicions are based on the fact that there are no pigeons flying around the area anymore!!!
Way back in the ’80s, a friend and I drove across the country for the fun of it. Early on we stopped at a KFC, and after I said that I never wanted to go there again. Towards the end of the trip, we stopped to visit an aunt an uncle of his. They were very nice and put us up for the night. When we arrived, we had been driving a pretty long time and were tired and hungry. They said, “We know a great place for dinner!” Of course we went to KFC. My friend just looked at me and laughed.
Although I haven’t eaten at a KFC in decades, I recall their chicken not being that bad. Their side dishes, on the other hand, were awful. No idea how they are now.
Like a number of people who commented above, I was trying to make some connection between this and the food delivery services like Door Dash and Uber Eats. Not sure if that’s what Bliss had in mind.

Given the last experience he had with delivery, he decided that it was better to get the food himself…

Is he taking home dinner or delivering to someone else? I am confused. Either way, I like the art.
