Very similar odors. I understand why Opus was mistaken.

Around here, what one smells in the air starting this time of year is what’s been accumulating in barns and hog-waste lagoons all winter. Still smells better than politics, however…

Spring Training

I thought the stench of politics was a 24/7, 365 and a 1/4 sort of things these days…

I miss those days when politics WASN’T in the air year-round.

Yup, gonna be one raucous caucus…lol

Oh God! That horrid smell. Kind of like spoiled liver and onions. Friends don’t let friends smell politics… just sayin’

Yeah, it stinks, but socks don’t come to mind.

Politics – One of the original sources of pollution…

What’s sad is this cartoon is 36 years old and still, painfully, true. Except it has gotten more stench-iferous over the last 3 1/2 decades. The dirty socks smell has been overwhelmed by the blatant, self-serving, lying, conniving stench of corruption that puts pig sh*t pits to shame.

It’s been in the air far more pungently, the ‘drained swamp’ Crooked Donny has been responsible for, now lapping at our doors.

Isn’t the stench sad? I’d prefer Spring, flowers, clean sun-dried laundry….

It’s easy to see how one could confuse the two.
