    just after this election my girlfriend graduated form BU. the speakers at the commencement were president bush and french president Francois Mitterand. since they met in boston, Dukakis, as governor, was there and on the stage you could just see him glowering at the back of Bush’s head ‘that should be me’

    Gregory Peck played “The President” in 1987’s Amazing Grace and Chuck unless for some reason B-dubz is referring to his tenure as Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president in 1967. This strip refers to the 1988 election, which would seem to suggest the former.
