Medicare doesn’t cover Eliquis (900$/mo) therefore; 80 mg aspirin/ day continues.

My father’s doctor prescribed a med for him, told him “take one pill every day for the rest of your life”. When he opened the bottle, there were 4 pills! JK!

For all of our foreign readers who may be puzzled, this is an American Joke. But then so is the American so called health system so it’s fitting.

Must be a third world sh!t hole country without national health/single payer where corporations are given more rights than its citizens.

It’s always bothered me that we have decades – CENTURIES – of advancement in medical treatment, yet it’s corporations (insurance companies) who decide who gets treated and who doesn’t. At least in the US…

I remember my wife’s prescription maxing out the limit in one blow (some super anticancer stuff made from yew trees or something). Free medicine the rest of the year for her. My prescriptions never get close, 2580 SEK over a year is the limit now going up to 2590 in january. That’s 235 USD or thereabouts.
