Glad to see Elvis is keeping up the journalistic tradition of misquoting for the sake of drama.

And Puck’s is the only one that isn’t puffy.

And “mow” is pretty much the way you say “cat” in both modern Mandarin and Ancient Egyptian.

…lots of puffy tails today :)…when I was growing up, we had a great short-haired tuxedo cat. Always lots of babies around, and when they were very little, they could get away with grabbing, pulling and generally annoying the cat in any way they could – he’d just have this resigned look on his face. However, as soon as the kids were old enough that people would start scolding them for doing that (NO! Not nice!) then the cat figured it was fair game to swat the kids in order to stop the torment. Never ever used his claws :)…what a great cat he was :)…

Ah, the puffy tail…I love it.

Man! I used to love to pull the cat’s tail when I was a kid! I was a real terror, though.

I distinctly heard the jaws theme in that last panel. What good boys they are.

My wife’s grandchildren would come to visit. One cat would dart away with instructions to call him when the monkeys went home. The other cat would walk right up to them. “Are you going to put me in a paper bag, carry me around the house, and let me go in a different room? Alright! Let’s get started.”

I somehow missed this first time around. How delightful!

That kid won’t be so happy mowing years from now when Dad says the grass is too long.
