Well that’s not quite what “peer reviewed” means Lupin but I guess it’s close enough when addressing candy wrappers :) Love the look on Elvis’s face in panel 3. And I don’t think this is going to end well, maybe a time out is in our favourite feline reporters future

Peer reviewed? I’m not impressed. I’m an old academic, and I’ve done peer reviewing myself, had it done to me, and seen a lot of it done to others. If the journal editor agrees with the thesis of the article, at least half the time it means “pal reviewed by people who will approve of it”. If the editor disagrees, it means “reviewed by people who would never admit that the thesis could have any merit whatsoever”.

It’s funny how cats will figure out a favorite place to stash their toys and other objects of interest. Like Elvis, Squaller (aka Georgina) would drop her olive pits behind the couch. Big Bad John would stash his valuables under the fridge. Miss kitty would poke her toys under the corner cupboard where my mom kept her antiques. Jasper would toss his jingle balls down the basement steps. I think he enjoyed hearing them as they hit a step, then bounced to the next step, then hit the cement block wall at the bottom of the steps. Amazingly, none of them ever broke. The softer toys got poked under my big book shelf/drawer units in my office.

DUN DUN DUN!! As someone said yesterday, CAT FIGHT!

As an academic librarian, I always gotta love when the words “peer review” appear in a comic strip (esp. a good one <3!). And love to the other commentor who had a cat named Jasper!

Oooh, Lupin got the jump on the Prince of Pounce. This is going to be some fight. How long until we see the no-no bottle make an appearance?

Lupin and Puck are Elvis’ peers – so they can make the report. I would love to see the Woman lift the couch and find the wrappers! That would be a hoot!
