Now wait a minute, I was always told to engage the Death Star’s parking break when blowing things up at close range, to guard against the percussion…..Where does Rickard get his information?
CDL #5. What can legally hold a parking or emergency brake in position for a truck, truck tractor or death star? A. Fluid pressure B. Air pressure C. Spring pressure D. Translation/attitude thruster assembly E. B and D above
@pcolli, the sphere in the picture is not parallelizable, by the Hairy Ball Theorem. But the sphere in 4D is easy to parallelize (just use quaternions).
I was driving my brothers Death-Ship one time, and it just didn’t have any power. Fortunately I finally realized that it had the parking break on. I disengaged it and it turned out to be pretty peppy.

Good thing, too. I wouldn’t feel safe knowing there’s an unlicensed deathship-operator out there.

At least he doesn’t have to parallel park that thing.

Can you parallel park in warp space?
Bittermelon of Truth over 13 years ago
I’m not worried about how he parks, I want to know if he observes the speed (warp?) limit!

186,282 miles per second. It’s not just a good idea, it’s the LAW!

Don’t forget to check the organ donor box.

I did the same thing 40 years ago but the DMV guy didn’t tell my Dad I was holding back his 383.

Parallel parking with a sphere is still easier to master than the three-point turn by a long shot. I keep backing into those stupid moons.

You know, it’s painful as a cartoonist to read comments that are funnier than my original gag.- tim

Parallel parking is why I prefer driving a Borg cube. That and they stack quite nicely.

I’m a pretty good gag writer. Everyone gags when I write.
Bilan over 13 years ago
Parallel parking is actually quite easy. Just drive right in and rotate starboard for 90 degrees.

Q: where can you park a 500 giga kilo deathstar?
A: Any where you want to.
@dr.melBut without your strip where we start?
