Perhaps this was a reason Dr.Who was so enamored with the planet Earth: a quaint little planet.

“The major problem—one of the major problems, for there are several—one of the many major problems with governing people is that of whom you get to do it; or rather of who manages to get people to let them do it to them.To summarize: it is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it.To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.” Douglas Adams.

Either the climate activists have won and turned the planet into a great big green jungle again or they’ve lost and it’s fully filled with green toxic waste.

Hmm, I wonder which one they are following, Mozambique or Botswana? Both are coming up pretty soon, though Canada isn’t far off either. Bolivia, Haiti, Argentina and Uruguay all happen in October as well.

Earth has elections all the time. In fact, you would be hard put to find a time when somewhere on Earth is not having an election.
