Let me guess, the stormtroopers took some Dramamine and fell asleep for several months.

They weren’t necessarily in the horse for a whole year. Just birthday to birthday. But it was last year, but maybe Brewster’s birthday is in late December, and the leader’s birthday is in early January. Or maybe I’m reading WAY too much into this, and I should have realized that comic physics is comic physics.
