They should use Dr. Mel’s time machine and jump 3 months ahead.

Wrong, Brewster. Daylight Saving starts in March. Last night was a return to Standard Time.

Nice thought, but that would mean we’d continue to be inundated with political advertisements, robocalls, and spam!

Who invented Daylight Saving Time? It saves nothing, it’s harmful to humans, unhealthy, it reduces productivity, it causes accidents. Who is making us do this, oh yes congress. Fire them all!

Why do they have an old mechanical clock on the space station?

Theoretically, they could keep doing it for up to 24 hours, by continually traveling west until they hit the International Date Line.

The longer you postpone it, the more time there will be for the lying ads on television.

We have the knowledge and the technology to shift Earth’s orbital parameters in such a way that I am always comfortable and have exactly 12 hours of daylight.

Biennial is every 2 years. Biannual or semi-annual is twice a year. Probably auto incorrect got that.

If we end Daylight Saving, then in much of the U.S., in the Summer the sun would rise around 4:40 am and set around 8:00 pm. VERY few people are going to be up that early, while MOST people are up past 8:00 pm., so that’s an hour of daylight wasted and it WOULD mean a lot more electricity used. If, instead, we made Daylight Saving permanent, then in the Winter, the sun wouldn’t rise until about 8:40 am and set around 5:40. It would be nice for the day to last longer, BUT having the sun rise around 8:40 is awfully late. In Winter, the days are so short, there’s not anything you can do to save electricity- it’s going to be dark after people get up and before they go to bed, but if the sun is coming up around 7:40, rather than 8:40, then a lot of kids will be walking to school in some light, rather than total darkness. Switching the time twice a year is a pain, but getting rid of it would have some major drawbacks that people don’t seem to bother considering.

Not looking forward to the election?

Americans are dying by the tens of thousands (some literally) for this election! It can’t come soon enough!

Enough is way too much! Trexit, 2020!
