Wish I had got one of those books.

It’s a best seller.

Found only in the arcane section of the used book stores, in the basement, in the bottom drawer of a filing cabinet next to the disused lavatory with the sign saying “Beware of the Leopard”.

How long before he figures out Dad is having him on — andshowing a bit of imagination of his own in the process.

I’ve always loved Dad’s explanations to Calvin’s questions. He’s come up with a few doozies.

There’s some good stuff in that book

I know, right? That’s true too, I had forgotten about that! LOL I could never understand why she would get so mad . . . but then again, I do love a man with a good sense of humor.

What do moms get?

“Mythbusters” did a segment on this a few years ago. Adam and Jamie didn’t blow their eyes out.

This, along with Dad’s explanation of why the world was black and white until the 1930s or so, is my favorite Calvin ever.

I figured Calvin would start trying to keep his eyes open, he’d think it’d be great to have his eyes hanging out

Maybe that’s the book that Calvin’s dad is holding. Looks like he’s only halfway through it. lol The Grandpa in Pickles tells good stories too.

People close their eyes when they kiss because it’s hard to kiss while laughing… they each look really goofy when watching each other cross-eyed.

I never did get my book about being a dad; I never got the book about understanding women when I got married. I found a book once at a bookstore about understanding women but all the pages were blank.

I never got my copy. I assume it’s too late since my son just retired from the Army last year. I think I’ll e-mail him and ask if he ever got his.
