Please tell me those shards are actually helium balloons
I thought the moral was, don’t drive a poorly maintained Mercedes.
The question is why did it explode in mid air? A bomb? Some faulty equipment? Does someone not like Mr. Jones? A mystery here.
Not to worry, Calvin. I’m sure your fertile imagination will conjure up something entirely suitable.
the suspense is killing me!
Calvin’s dad’s moral: Ride a bike to work and hug the inner shoulder.
reminds me of a king missle III song Jim about a guy who invents people just to kill them
Grim, Calvin, grim
The neighbors saw a the little shards of car, had a good laugh, and went home.
“A 5 acre home "? That is one large house !
To be continued tomorrow! Same Cal Time! Same Cal channel!
And it is thus the idea of ‘the sequel’ was born. Movies have not been the same since
“Unwinds the sun roof”… shows how classic these C&H strips really are.
In my version he parks his Mercedes in front of some motorcycles at a biker bar and gas stop. Cue the music “Born to be wild”
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood…
LEADINGEDGE ABOUT 11 HOURS AGO
I smell a Mercedes lawsuit.
Just what does a Mercedes lawsuit smell like?
A guy’s just gotta know…
Glad I walk to work.

Wonder if Hamster Huey from “Hamster Huey and the Gooey Kablooey” has anything to say about today’s panel 9 … ?
That minivan looks suspiciously like the red sports car.
It makes you wonder what it would be like if Calvin and Poncho lived in the same house.
Reminds me of a commercial on TV years ago where the guy had a house, family and cars. From the back of his lawn mower he looks at the camera and says, “I’m mortgaged up to my eyeballs!” I can’t recall what the rest of the commercial was about.
The sad truth, dear ladies, is all us guys played just like that when we were six years old.
first of all, the car was “going down”, while Bill depicted it going up. Second of all, how did a car going down propel into the stratosphere?
