Cathy’s over 60? Didn’t she recently have a child?

I find the best time is after senior hours but still fairly early. It’s not the crack of dawn but it’s not crowded. Absolute worst time is late morning to late afternoon.

Yeah, you know you passed a certain point when they don’t even bother to ask.

Yep, one glance at my gray hair and they don’t bother asking.

I remember my first senior moment. I got on a bus, and the driver asked if I was a senior. I wasn’t.

I was a bit surprised when I was given a senior discount without even asking for it, but I didn’t complain

When I’m wearing a hat, the only hair that shows is nearly snow white

You know you’re a grownup when you’re no longer carded. That happened to me ages ago. Or when people on the street call you “Ma’am”.

Oooooo…I resemble that remark ;)

Senior shopping hours? Round here it’s an hour and usually 7-8am.

Personally, I think Cathy should take this news as a compliment …

Why are there no updates since 11/17?

A hat and a mask, in combination with mirrored sunglasses, is all it takes to make you look much younger. Or dangerous. Or like a moron. Why do I even write this? Must be the constant lack of oxygen.

Good news, everyone! Cathy Guisewite hasn’t quit drawing her “rebooted” comic; she’s just been focusing on another project lately.

According to her most current Facebook post on 11/21, she and her daughter have been very busy shipping orders for a bunch of vintage Cathy items (from the 1980’s and 90’s) they found when they cleaned out a storage room during lockdown. As soon as that’s done, she assured everyone that she would be resuming her comic again. There was no word as to when that will be, though, so have patience, fellow Cathy fans. Our favorite little nutjob WILL be back with us again soon! :-)

Ironically, when I was in Target a few days ago, they carded me in order to buy an expansion pack for “Cards Against Humanity”. Apparently, my full white beard wasn’t enough to convince the person that I was over 18.
