Standing in a store facing 20 cosmeticians selling 5,000 different anti-aging skin products causes stress. Stress causes the body to produce the "stress hormone", cortisol. Cortisol speeds up the aging process, causing wrinkles, furrows, sags, bags and blotches. So much known about the damaging rays of the sun...so little about the damaging rays of confusion.

Stress wreaks havoc on your skin, and so does a lack of sleep (I’m living proof), so get some sleep RinaFarina. The comics will wait for you. :-)

I love timezone differences! What’s 2am to everyone else is 2pm in China! I can get my beauty sleep!

Here’s a thought: cut down on stress, thus stopping the body from producing Cortisol by staying the heck out of the beauty department, then you won’t be confused by the 5,000 products!

Well put funnyfan928!! Plus you won’t have to worry (stress) about all the bills if you don’t buy the overpriced goo….

Yesterday someone said salicylic acid (originally derived from the willow tree) is asprin. It is, but they also use it in acne drying medicine now instead of benzoyl peroxide, so while they’re using it to treat wrinkles, it actually causes them by keeping your skin dry, necessitating more use of the product. Propylene glycol, which is used in cosmetics and food and pet food, is also a dangerous ingredient in antifreeze, yet the FDA continues to allow its overuse.
Cathy needs a bottle of wine and a locked room, like the bathroom for a hot, relaxing bath, to forget what a mess she’s gotten herself into. You can’t get results like that from a jar of topical poison.

Ah but it’s soooo American – everything in excess and more (or bigger) is always better.
