The power of suggestion. I went in to Urgent Care to r/o Strep a couple of weeks ago — my throat was beet red and raw. No strep, no flu, not much of anything. So I went about my business of New Years partying.
Hi Billy — glad to hear you and JA are toasty again!! I agree, I prefer the winter to the heat of the summer — so April would be fine.
I used to have the flu for weeks every winter. Then I started taking flu shots every year. I discovered that I would have a few days of coming down with the flu, followed by a few days that felt like getting over the flu; but what I skipped was the whole experience of actually having the flu at all. Seems to me it’s worth having a flu shot, for that result.
