Cathy is making perfect sense. And she doesn’t have flu-like symptoms herself? Wow. lightenup I think we need to mark this DAY 1 and see if we have a chance at DAY 2. And, yes Mr. P, an icky throat is a harbinger of things to come, at least until you can make a perfectly good loogie and expel it.

Home a bit early. Cap’n said I was showing flu-like symptoms. AACK!

You’re right, JanuAaronry! We should count Cathy’s rational days, rather than her nutty days. Too many of those to keep track of… LOL! So…

Day 1 of Cathy’s sanity :-)You’re showing flu-like symptoms, JanuAaronry? Hmm, I think I am too then. Cough, cough! Time to go back to bed, I think… ;-)Hey KFG! I thought I had been keeping up with posts, but apparently I missed some from a couple of days ago. I think there should be a time limit on how far I need to go back. ;-) Hmm, so “the other doctors” need Thin Mints? I’d have to figure out how to mail them to you. They are $3.50 a box…Hello to Susan, GsMom, gmforde, Billy, Nancy, rgcviper, lindz.coop and all the other Cathy nuts rolling around here today!

Okay, friend Aaron has gone to work. Let’s all talk about him behind his back to his face.

Gee, DAY 1 for sure. Kinda like waiting for the other shoe to drop though. Since Aaron says odds are always 50-50, I give her a 75% chance of being a nut job by tomorrow. A loogie, Aaron? Don’t you go teaching LMB that stuff! (That’s my job).

Susan, Aaron is right about you setting him up for a good one on Broom Hilda. I’ll await your permission to slap him silly(ier). GsMom! You ou dere? Missing gmforde too. lightenup good reply about the flu. :-) Hello like-minded fellow Cathyites.

Oh, Billy you’ve done it now… KFG will remind you of this until the end of time. Your only escape is if someone screws up sooner and serves as a distraction. Quick, throw someone under the bus! (And it better not be me, or else you’re in for double trouble. KFG and I are like Wonder Woman twins, but she’s of the North and I’m of the South.) LOL!!p.s. Aaron, did you check out BC? rgcviper SNERKed at your comment… :-)

The power of suggestion. I went in to Urgent Care to r/o Strep a couple of weeks ago — my throat was beet red and raw. No strep, no flu, not much of anything. So I went about my business of New Years partying.

Hi Billy — glad to hear you and JA are toasty again!! I agree, I prefer the winter to the heat of the summer — so April would be fine.

Hi to all other Cathy nuts that roll thru!!

I used to have the flu for weeks every winter. Then I started taking flu shots every year. I discovered that I would have a few days of coming down with the flu, followed by a few days that felt like getting over the flu; but what I skipped was the whole experience of actually having the flu at all. Seems to me it’s worth having a flu shot, for that result.
