Paranoid much, Cathy?

The busy signal wasn’t much better, and I don’t think that’s the problem, Cathy. I remember the frustration when I got a busy signal for hours. Then we had to figure out if a phone was off the hook. That would never happen now. A nice “Hi hon, I thought about you today” would go a long way to help Irving heal and to get rid of Cathy’s insecurities. I respond very well to that.

It looks like Cathy’s back to her “normal” self around anything Irving does! All that drama for one phone call (eye roll). lol

I see Cathy is still at the Henna bottle.

She’s normal on Sunday’s.

Cathy . . . Cathy . . . Cathy! That sure is an awful lot of angst over someone not answering their phone the moment you call them! Give the poor guy a break!

Why does he have to be ignoring you? What about the option of him being somewhere where he can’t answer the phone because:

1.) it isn’t with him (like, say, in the shower)?

2.) he can’t hear it ringing because of background noise?

3.) there’s no signal?

4.) he’s in a meeting?

KFG I think Sunday Cathy comics is not necessarily connected to weekday & Saturday. That’s why Irving is ‘normal’. I imagine we’ll see the end of that arc this week though (I hope).

I like that one, Susan (AaronCupid). I’ll use that on the 14th.

Wow, she did a lot of things wrong here:1) She shoulda left a message because Irving would probably have called back.2) Irving can’t ‘hear’ the thought balloons AND she already hung up.3) All she’s getting in panel 3 is the dial tone (see 2)

KFG is really Elizabeth? It’s also my mom’s real name but she’s been Betsy so long people have to think twice if she signs anything as Elizabeth.

I have to say that I kinda see Cathy’s point today. [Gasp—what’s wrong with me?].Of course, leaving a message would probably make more sense, as others have pointed out..Hello, everyone, and thanks as always for the shout-outs—they always make me smile! You guys are great.

I have enough trouble talking to people on the phone (prefer face to face) – talking to a machine …. BLECH! Unless it is business I usually hang up without leaving a message.

I hate when people call and just hang up without leaving a message. Then they complain because I don’t call them back.
