    Hello Aaron, glad you got to go home. We all missed you. Funny how some things never change! In spite of the government push to “eat right”, people still insist on selling huge portions to you. I don’t get it either.

    Splitting the dessert also doesn’t count for calories. I didn’t know about seconhand calories though. Cool idea. Billy and I will swap desserts next time. (Even though I’m about 120lbs and mate Billy is 165lbs a sleekness).

    Morning ladies who came before me. It’s good be back with you all too. Morning late arrivals. Afternoon / evening to our other Cathyite family through the day. I finally discovered the only one downside to living in a multi-level townhouse. Stairs are now mountains to be conquered. Wow.

    Now I can see where Cathy gets her craziness. It runs in the family.

    Welcome back, Aaron. Great to have you with us again.

    @legaleagle48LOL!

    Happy Sunday to all.

    Whoops I forgot to comment today… I agree with legaleagle. Secondhand calories do count. You’re delusional, Cathy, and probably also think that if you’re on vacation they don’t count either….Hello, serenasakitty, Susan, gmforde, BJIllistrated, legaleagle, rgcviper and all the rest of you “lurkers” (hee hee, I can seeee you…. ;-))!And of course, welcome back to Aaron!!! I saw your post last night and was thrilled you’re back! I hope you can set up something on one floor of your house until you get better at going up and down the stairs. Sending healing powers and hugs your way… Hello to GretchensMom, Billy, lindz.coop, hendelca, Mona, kittycatpawsare, soonergal, lippyfish, Mai Tai, Willi Nilli and everyone else who passes this way today!!

    Okay Scotty, time to beam me out of Cathyland. There’s no intelligence there.

    But I do like the idea of secondhand calories. Aaron and I always share desserts, but this is nice if I finish off someone else’s when eating out with other friends.

    hi mom!

    Sorry I didn’t make it on for the BIG NEWS yesterday — we got home at 2:00 in the AM. My nephew had an art “opening” with his first major work in an art show and it’s 2 hours from home. He was so excited!!

    And now I’m very excited to hear that Aaron is home!!!! So glad you can be on the mend in comfortable surroundings — with excellent caregivers (especially LMB, Billy and his wonderful parents). You should be well in no time!! My dancer friend who had hip replacement was in a lot of pain for the first couple of weeks, but was back teaching dance 5 weeks later and back dancing 8 weeks later. She’s fully recovered and still a professional dancer 4 years later.

    Hi Other Cathyites!! I definitely agree that supersizing foods is a major culprit in supersizing our kids today. My hubby and I always share a meal in restaurants (and then usually bring home a doggie bag — much to the chagrin of the cats). More is not necessarily better (and what does that twentieth bite of chocolate cake taste like anyway?)
