If I wasn’t a regular person, I would have been an Olympic gold medalist. (Likely either luge or curling bc luge is mostly lying down and hey, curling looks like fun. :-))
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! Have a great day, all!
“If I had not waited until my body was a sorry mess … I’d be out there running miles like I used to do. You should see my procrastinating muscles.”
Note: the habit of regular exercise is something you have to teach your children. Hoping they will learn from gym classes is hoping for the unlikely. I can honestly say I never had a single enjoyable experience in any gym class, even though I went on to join a profession where I was a professional athlete (for a short time).
Like mistercatworks my procrastinating muscles are so big they interfere with my other muscles – so I, too, like lightenup will never be an Olympic gold medalist. When I was very young I wanted to be a figure skater but was told, in no uncertain terms, that only “sissys” became figure skaters. This was shortly after Toller Cranston left my home town. Sure glad that whole attitude changed over the years since.
