Irving is desperate to be the best at something.

I try to discourage that sort of one-upmanship by not responding. Seems very childish. How does Irving really know that his illness is truly worse, and why does it matter? Is he looking for extra sympathy? Does he want a medal or a plaque? In this strip, I will agree that he is “really, really worse” than everyone else, but only in his whining and immaturity.

I agree: Irving’s the absolute worst, all right. How in the world these two EVER found each other and got together I’ll never know. Or understand. But I guess for every whack-a-doodle pot, there’s a matching whack-a-doodle lid out there made JUST for them! ;-)

I am glad I never saw any reason to declare my sickness is worse than your sickness or I am feeling worse than you are. There is no way anyone can tell how another person really feels anyway.

Another Monday gone. I hope you all enjoyed it.

Competition for who has it the worse…my hubby says his parents fought over who had it worst in WWII and nobody ever won that battle.
