I do not blame chocolate for the weight I have gained over the years – I blame large meals and lack of excercise. Kind of proved that over the past year where I lost weight by eating smaller meals (but not reducing my chocolate intake) and increasing my exercise (at least a little). Fortunately I am maintaining my weight within a 5 pound range so I seem to have found the balance between meal size, chocolate intake, and exercise.
Have a fabulous Friday – at least what is left of it.

Sorry Electra, but chocolate is toxic for dogs and cats, it could make you very sick whereas for us humans it can mostly only cause us to gain weight.

I take medications that make me crave carbohydrates, so I have an excuse. At least, that’s what I tell myself.

Chocolate is bad for me? Ha! I’m 73, so I’ve survived.

Some people try to substitute carob. I have found that carob is an acceptable substitute for chocolate but only if you have never tasted chocolate !

Ahh, chocolate … so bad and yet so good.
It also happens to be the breakfast of champions, if you ask me. Ha.
